Ash & Vine

A dry-aged steakhouse with a 400-bottle cellar — a site that sells the room and the wait, not a menu PDF.

Brief

Ash & Vine is a 45-day dry-age program, a decade-old cellar, and a no-rush policy — "the table is yours for the night." A restaurant site's job here is to make you want to book, then get out of the way.

Approach

Dark, low-lit, slow. The dry-aging and the cellar each get a real section because they're the reason to come. The menu is present but not the front door — the experience is. Reservations are one tap.

Decisions

  • Sell the night, not the dish. The "no rush" policy is copy, not a footnote.
  • The cellar is a feature page — 400 bottles, a weekly by-the-glass list.

What's built

Responsive site, light and dark, fast. The story, the program, the cellar, the menu, and reservations.
